Lead Pastors

Pastor Harold & nancy Carmean

Harold Carmean serves as the Senior Pastor at Cokesbury Worship Center. Harold assumed the position of Senior Pastor upon the reopening of Cokesbury Church in 2000 as a non-denominational house of worship. The church was later renamed Cokesbury Worship Center.

Harold grew up in this church as young child and attended services with both his parents and grandparents and was introduced to the Bible through his grandmother who taught Sunday School.

In addition to his role as Senior Pastor, Harold is involved in Prison Ministry where he preaches and mentors at Sussex Correctional Institute. He also serves as Senior Pastor for Strength In Recovery, a weekly gathering for those suffering with addiction.

The Lord has blessed Harold with the opportunity to share the gospel for a quarter of century, and he has a heart for the lost and has seen and believes in the power of God to transform lives.

His wife Nancy, whom he has been married to for 37 years, serves as the Director of Missions Ministry. Nancy’s spiritual gift is compassion which she so generously displays among the church body at CWC. She cares for people and has a servant’s heart.

Any Pastor will tell you their ministry is a team effort and requires a supportive and Godly wife, a role Nancy fulfills.

Harold and Nancy work together as God’s design as One Flesh to bring glory to God and bring hope to a lost world.

Together Harold and Nancy invite you to visit CWC because you matter to God and you matter to us.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
